I had a whitehead on my forehead for over a month. Pimple patches and cream did nothing. This shrunk it within the first use and a week later it’s gone. I’m very pleased
i have had a roller coster experience with this product. i have read on multiple blogs and reviews that people dive straight in and use this product every other day or everyday. ok…. i did this and my face was an over exfoliated mess. it took two months to rebuild my moisture barrier and try it once again. my advice is to start sloooooooooow. i used this once a week for about a month and then worked my way up to twice a week and im still working my way up to three times a week. my skin didnt improve at first, but its looking a lot better. pores are getting smaller, my skin is looking more glowy, texture and cystic acne decreasing (no more whiteheads!) if i can make a suggestion, i use the cosrx skin returning asol as a toner in the evening and it has really helped, and then i use this product twice a week. i think this combo is really improving my skin. i want anyone reading this to remember that skin care is a journey, not really a destination, so if you have read in the past that this product made someones skin perfect in only two uses i would be very skeptical (full disclosure, when i used this product everyday my skin looked BOMB three days in but then quickly went to hell from that point on)
This product is for exposing white heads and uncovering pores, and it does just that! I have very deep, small blackheads on my nose, and just by using this product those blackheads were exposed to the surface, and eventually gone. I am not sure if it will help everyone with blackheads though, as it is designed for mainly whiteheads. I get whiteheads anytime I use sunscreen, because my pores are super prone to getting clogged even when using a gentle Korean or Japanese sunscreen. But this product solved 99% of that issue, and I now I don’t need to worry at all when I apply sunscreen. Awesome product! One thing though, I have lowkey sensitive pale Asian skin, and usually this product does not cause any sort of reaction. But sometimes, maybe when I apply too much of it, it can make my skin appear more reddish and irritated, although it does not feel irritated at all. BUT other than occasional redness, this product helped me a lot with both black and white heads! Just make sure not to apply too much, a little goes a long way.
This is an incredible product. I have had clear skin all my life, so when my forehead randomly broke out with tiny little bumps (I think they were whiteheads), I immediately scoured amazon for a solution. I was really skeptical about the product, even worried that I got a faulty product, but within 3 nights of continuous use the bumps are gone!

I had hundreds of whiteheads all over my face, neck, shoulders and back. I started using this product twice a day and within the days my skin was clear! I haven’t had any sensitivity to this product. It’s basically scent free and does what it claims! I am shocked at how well it worked for me. I use the birchsap moisturizer from CosRx after applying. My skin looks and feels smooth and bump free now. I highly recommend this product!
I absolutely love this stuff. This is the first glycolic acid serum I added to my skincare routine but I was fairly confident I would like it based on reviews on Amazon and elsewhere as well as research into alpha hydroxy acids. It took about a week for my skin to adjust to it. There was a small amount of purging (small comedones and whiteheads) but I expected more considering I started at 7%. I also got a little bit of flaking but combining this with my Clarisonic in the mornings helped buff it away gently. Now that I’ve been using it for a little but I absolutely love it. The first morning after I used it I wake up with a healthy, plump glowy look to my skin. I noticed it helps my scars fade a lot faster, and my sun spots have been fading nicely. I always use a 45spf sunscreen every day to protect my skin since AHAs increase sensitivity to the sun. I’m really glad I decided to try this, yet another Cosrx product I’m pleased with. I will definitely be repurchasing this.
This product has changed my skin care game. I have very sensitive skin and can’t handle physical exfoliants. So I wanted to try chemical exfoliants but were very expensive. Came across CosRx AHA power liquid which is so inexpensive and does such a wonderful job. My skin has become so smooth and even. Have been using this for 3 years now. Love CosRx products, complete value for money.
Definitely helps to keep your skin clear. It’s even great for sensitive skin. It isn’t stripping and won’t cause you to produce more oil. COSRX is an excellent KBeauty product. The price you pay on Amazon is the best price I have found other than the sites I have looked at. You can’t go wrong with this. I used this product in conjunction to a peel AHA/BHA chemical peel and another COSRX toner to sooth my skin and a blackhead toner from COSRX as well, rotating days, but using an essence daily and I cleared my blackheads and whiteheads. COSRX also makes Centrella products to soothe and help acne prone skin.
I’d recommend this product to anyone with a bumpy or porous skin texture looking to soften the appearance of their skin. I’ll definitely be buying again in the future.
Patchtest. This is important if you have finicky skin. Acids cause a bit of stinging and purging if you don’t use it consistently or go to hard at first. You don’t want to damage your moisture barrier. Start of slow, every couple days. After a couple weeks, do every other day. Moisturize as well!
I used to swear by the classic Stridex pads that come in the red box. Stridex contains 2% salicylic acid (an AHA, or Alpha Hydroxy Acid), which is the highest strength available. I thought the stinging sensation and mild irritation I felt while using them was a sign the product was “working.”
Firstly, let me say I have mature skin which has basically been problem-free during adulthood. For some unknown reason, I had developed 4-5 whiteheads around my lip area that I wanted to rid myself of in the last year. Knew I should not try to squeeze them so researched how to treat. I purchased this item about 5 months ago and used as directed faithfully. There was no change to the majority of whiteheads, and one even got larger! Did the product improve skin-tone evenness…perhaps, but I have always used a quality skin care line and my skin looks good for my age. Regardless, I went yesterday to have the whiteheads professionally removed by my dermatologist.
Update believe it says to use 3 times a week. Please follow directions you may have rashes if used everyday. But following the directions is so work it my skin is so clear
I tried this product for 3 months before writing this review. I have EXTREMELY dry skin and decided to venture in Korean skincare products, and this product is one that I cannot live without! I use this as my exfoliator at night and has helped clean my pores, even out my skin tone, and help my skin absorb all the nutrients the other products in my daily routine has to offer. But notice that I said “HELPED,” this will not magically make your skin baby soft and hydrated after one use and one use alone! You will have to research on a skincare routine for your skin which includes this product, then you will see significant results after a week or so. As for the texture, it is a slightly viscous clear liquid.
This is a great product if you have whiteheads. Skin looks smoother after a few weeks of application.
The first time I used this product I experienced a moderate reaction to it, which caused my face to flush red for a little while. It didn’t sting or burn, but some people have had that reaction too. As with all skincare products, it would be wiser to patch test before applying to your whole face. I didn’t have another adverse reaction after that, but if you find that your skin is sensitive to this product you could try 1) starting with a low frequency, like once per week, and/or 2) using an AHA with a lower concentration of the active ingredient. I believe that other brands make a 2% product, which is quite a low concentration and may be more tolerable for some people.
This stuff is incredible. This is meant for “white heads” meaning closed comedones—skin colored bumps that are acne deep beneath the skin. My forehead broke out into closed comedones, and after using 2-3 pumps of this for two nights, they’re practically gone!
Okay i do like this product, it definitely either cleans out my nose pores, or shrinks them. Idk, i just know that my nose looks way better using this product. But be careful when you first start using it because it is strongggg. a little goes a long way. your face will get red and sting a little the first couple uses.
I noticed a BIG change within about a week and a half. Those little bratty bumps haven’t shown up since. Here’s the thing, as long as you stay committed to the routine and have the mental ability to be patient, you won’t have an issue.
